How to become a foster carer:

We urgently need foster carers and families in areas such as Dudley, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Shropshire, Telford, Walsall. Our is to recruit local foster carers for local children.

Foster carer requirements and criteria:
  • The requirements are that you must be at least 21 years old. 
  • We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who possess kindness, a sense of humour, and a genuine interest in the well-being of children.
  • If you have a spare bedroom, time to dedicate, and a desire to make a difference, we invite you to apply to be a foster carer. 
  • Your role would be to provide a nurturing home for children and young people, helping them feel welcomed and supported as they strive to reach their full potential.
Foster carer benefits and pay:
  • We provide extensive foster carer benefits including a dedicated Supervising Social Worker, regular check-ins, assistance during meetings, and exceptional training opportunities. 
  • You will also have access to a 24-hour support line, 14 days of paid respite each year, and specialised training in PACE and DDP to better understand trauma. 
  • Foster carers get paid to foster and we offer a foster carer pay package of up to £500 per week per child, depending on their age. Foster carers can also work alongside their fostering role.
