SUPERVISING SOCIAL WORKER (SSW)

Salary range – £28,000 – £32,000.

Social Work Degree, Dip S/W, CQSW or equivalent.

Closing date: Monday 14th October.

Interviews scheduled for Tuesday 22nd October.

New Chapters Fostercare is an independent agency based in Shifnal, Shropshire and we are seeking a full time social worker with the necessary drive, enthusiasm, ambition and commitment to compliment our already well established team and help maintain our family feel ethos.

Applicants must be at least two years post qualified, preferably with experience in childcare, family placement work and/or child protection.  You will also be expected to demonstrate up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and associated regulations and be HCPC registered.

You will be expected to manage a maximum caseload of 14, be part of the duty and out of hours rotas and work constructively with a diverse range of foster carers.

FOSTERING FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER (FSW)

Rate of pay – £18,278 per annum.

37 hours, full-time.

Closing date: Monday 14th October.

Interviews scheduled for Tuesday 5th November.

New Chapters Fostercare is an independent agency based in Shifnal, Shropshire and we are seeking a full-time family support worker to compliment our already well established team and help maintain our family feel ethos.

Applicants must have at least one years’ experience of working directly with children and young people and an understanding of the impact of trauma.  Applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to advocate on behalf of vulnerable children and young people and be able to embrace a therapeutic approach in all aspects of the role.
